Out for the count. - burnt out/still glowing
Out for the count.

I've been quite rough for about a week. Unable to pound the pavement in Barking or even come into the office, for risk of getting everyone else sick. So I've been doings bits and bobs from home.

I was down with pneumonia in January and the doc said my immune system would be susceptible to all and sundry of illness for about six months until it builds itself back up, so I think that bloke coughing his guts up on the 161 to Chislehurst the other week completely did me up like a kipper.

I'm feeling like I'm over the worst of it now, having spent the majority of the week in bed (not watching Jeremy Kyle, I might add. Being productive!). I'm looking forward to finally getting out and seeing Millwall at home to Brentford tomorrow night, going out for drinks Saturday with the crew and celebrating my girlfriend's birthday Monday. I hope she likes what I got her.

Frank's away at the moment, so Andy and James are doing a spiffing job holding the fort. I'll be back to the grind on Tuesday!

Onwards and upwards.
